Questions about this product
How much home loan can I get on my salary?
Banks usually keep all EMIs within 50 to 60% of net income and lend up to 75 to 90% of the property value. The calculator works out both.
Can the bank charge me for prepaying a floating rate home loan?
No. RBI rules do not allow prepayment charges on floating rate loans to individuals for non-business purposes.
Is the home loan tax benefit available in the new regime?
Not for a self-occupied house. The principal and interest deductions apply under the old regime.
Does it cover self-employed borrowers?
Yes. The documents chapter has a separate list, and the guide explains what banks look for.
Is this financial advice?
No. It explains how home loans work so you can compare offers and ask the right questions.
How do I get the files after payment?
A download button appears on screen right after payment, and the link is emailed to you. You can also download again any time from My account.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It works with Any phone, tablet or computer, Print-ready A4, Excel / Google Sheets for the checklist. Free mobile apps are enough.
