Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) Planner & Calculator (Excel)₹149Most PPF calculators assume you deposit ₹1.5 lakh on 1 April every year. Real life is a ₹50,000 top-up in July and the rest in March. That difference changes your maturity amount, and this planner shows it.
What it does
- 25 years laid out: the 15-year term and two 5-year extensions
- Deposit month for each year: interest is worked out for the months your money actually earned
- Rate per year, so past years use the rate that applied and future years use today's rate
- Withdrawal limit from year 7 and loan limit in years 3 to 6, following PPF rules
- Summary with balance at 15, 20 and 25 years, total deposits and tax-free interest, plus a chart
- Over-limit warning if a year's deposit crosses ₹1,50,000
Why it's worth planning
Depositing ₹1.5 lakh by 5 April instead of in March earns almost a full extra year of interest on that money. Over 15 years that adds up to tens of thousands of rupees.

Questions about this product
Why does the deposit month matter?
PPF pays interest on the lowest balance between the 5th and the end of each month. Money deposited after the 5th earns nothing for that month.
Is PPF interest taxable?
No. PPF is in the exempt category: deposits qualify for the old regime deduction, and interest and maturity are tax-free.
Can I extend PPF after 15 years?
Yes, in blocks of 5 years, with or without new deposits. The planner shows both extensions.
How is the withdrawal limit worked out?
From year 7, up to 50% of the lower of the balance at the end of the 4th year before, or the year just before.
What rate should I use?
The current rate for future years (7.1% for October to December 2026). For past years type the rate that applied.
How do I get the files after payment?
A download button appears on screen right after payment, and the link is emailed to you. You can also download again any time from My account.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It works with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, WPS Office. Free mobile apps are enough.
What if something does not work?
Write to us within 7 days with your order number. We will fix it, send a working file, or refund you.
